ARANKA'S
REFLECTIONS
Behind every business is a person. Behind Awareness of You is simply me, Aranka. And this is where I share the experiences, questions, lessons, and moments that shaped the way I see people and the world and why I do this work that I am devoted to.
I wasn't looking for answers. I was learning HOW TO SEE:
Long before I realized it, engineering taught me a skill that changed the way I look at everything in life. We didn't design on computers. We drew everything by hand. Every object had to be viewed from multiple angles before it could be understood. A cylinder wasn't always a cylinder..and yet it was. Depending on which angle you observe it from it could look like a rectangle, a circle, or something else entirely. The object never changed, but my perspective did. Looking back, I think that way of seeing quietly, subconsciously shaped the way I approach people, ideas, and life itself. Engineering taught me that perspective changes what we see.
Psychology taught me that people can experience the very same reality in completely different ways.
Growing up in Hungary showed me how generational traumas show up in people sometimes in unrecognizable ways.
Curiosity
Even as a child, I struggled with being told there was only one correct interpretation.
I remember discussing poetry in school. The teacher explained what the author meant. It created such a discomfort in me and I asked questions..I always asked so many questions.. "Did you ask the poet and he told you what he meant? and if not how can we know?" My teachers weren't amused. I wasn't trying to argue, I genuinely wanted to understand how we know what we think we know.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped looking for the "right" answer. I became much more interested in understanding why different people could honestly arrive at different answers while seeing and talking about the same things.
From a very young age I had questions about "Why are we here?", "What is the purpose of life?", "What happens after we die?". The more people you ask, the more types of answers you get, if you get any answers at all. My thirst for understanding people, life and everything contained within it created a relentless researcher, reader and a conversationalist being from me.
Leaving HOME changes more than just your ADDRESS:
When I left Hungary and moved to the United States, I thought I was just changing countries. Looking back, I was changing much more than that. I left behind my language, my family, the life I had imagined, and the version of myself that had always existed within those familiar surroundings.
2008-2009 the financial crisis arrived and it forced me to let go of plans that no longer fit the reality I was living. Life became less about following a carefully designed path and more about learning how to begin again.. and again.. and again. Looking back, I don't see that season as a failure. I see it as the beginning of understanding that our identity isn't built from where we live, what we do for a living, or the expectations we inherit from the people around us. Those things can all change, by the very choices we make. Who we are is something much deeper. Sometimes we don't begin to discover it until everything has been taken away.
Every place I've lived, every kind of work I made a living from has shown me a different way people experience the world. Different cultures. Different priorities. Different definitions of success, family, health, and the way of defining happiness. Each one expanded the way I see people. None of them gave me the whole picture. Together, they reminded me that there is rarely only one way to live a meaningful life.
Every experience became another way of observing people:
I never saw work as just work. Every role became another way of understanding how people move through the world.
Engineering taught me to see systems instead of isolated problems. Psychology gave language to patterns I had been noticing since I was a child. Being in sales and marketing showed me a side of me I never knew before. Working as a flight attendant showed me people during some of life's biggest transitions. Joy, grief, excitement, fear, exhaustion. An airport is a fascinating place to watch humanity. Acting taught me that communication isn't only about words. We reveal ourselves through tone, posture, silence, and everything we don't say. Motherhood taught me that life rarely follows our plans, and that surrender is often wiser than control.
One of the most unexpected teachers was working inside people's homes. As I cleaned and organized, I began noticing that surroundings tell stories long before we do. Without even meeting the homeowner, you could often sense how life felt inside those walls. The bedroom, the kitchen, the entryway, even the way a closet was arranged often reflected what was happening internally. Later, as I studied organization, habit formation, and feng shui, many of those observations began making even more sense. Our environment shapes us, and we shape our environment. A bedroom filled with work, unopened boxes in the hallway, a dining table that has quetly become a storage shelf.. these aren't simply decorating choices. Sometimes they reveal patterns we've stopped noticing because we've been living inside them for so long. I became fascinated by the relationship between our inner landscape and the spaces we create around us.
My body became one of my greatest teachers
For a long time, I approached life with my mind. I wanted to understand. To solve. To improve. Then life slowly invited me into a different kind of education..
Surgeries, injuries (including a vaccine injury), thyroid problems led to auto-immune condition, pregnancy, postpartum changes, hormones, chronic symptoms, healing, setbacks.. my body kept asking me to pay attention. It wasn't about witnessing and analyzing what was hurting but listening, truly listening to my body to understand what it was trying to communicate. I stopped seeing my body as something working against me and began wondering if it had been trying to work with me all along. That question alone..changed the way I approach health and well-being.
Instead of searching for one perfect answer (which doesn't exist), I became obsessed with how everything connects. Sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, light, relationships, purpose, nervous system regulation, environment, and even the stories we tell ourselves all influence our well-being. The body isn't separate from the rest of our lives. It responds to all of it. The realization about our body's inherent intelligence didn't make me abandon science. It made me appreciate it even more, while also bringing my heart closer to God and leaving room for my curiosity about the things science still haven't found the answers to.
I STOPPED ASKING "HOW DO I SILENCE MY BODY?" AND STARTED ASKING "WHAT IS IT TRYING TO TELL ME?"
Curiosity became my way forward
I never set out to collect certifications. I was simply following questions. Whenever I encountered something that helped me better understand myself or another person, I wanted to learn more about it.
Human Design gave me language to patterns and the energetic play between people I had been noticing for years. Gene Keys invited me to explore those patterns with greater depth and compassion.
Seasonal Color Analysis showed me that even the colors we wear can either support or compete with how we naturally express ourselves.
Studying health, biology, mitochondria, nutrition, our hormones and the nervous system expanded my appreciation for how deeply connected the body is to every part of our lives.
Access Consciousness introduced questions that challenged many of the assumptions I didn't even realize I was carrying.
Even styling became another way of helping people express who they already are, rather than trying to become someone else.
The more I learned, the more I realized that no single system has all the answers. Each offers a different perspective. Together, they help us see ourselves a little more clearly.
I DON'T BELIEVE ONE PERSPECTIVE CAN EXPLAIN A HUMAN BEING. I BELIEVE EVERY HONEST PERSPECTIVE CAN REVEAL ANOTHER PIECE OF WHO WE ARE.
Everything I offer changed me first
I don't believe we can authentically guide someone somewhere we've never been ourselves. Every perspective I share first became part of my own journey. Some helped me understand my body. Some helped me understand how I make decisions, relate to others, or navigate life's challenges.
Others simply invited me to ask better questions. None of them became my identity. They became tools that helped me see more clearly. That is also how I work with others. I'm not interested in convincing anyone about anything or prove that one system has all the answers.. I'm interested in helping people discover the perspectives that allow them to understand themselves with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence.
That's what Awareness of You was built to be.
Not a place with answers..rather a place where curiosity is welcomed, different perspectives can coexist, and understanding yourself becomes the beginning of meaningful change.
Welcome in my world! with so much Love, Aranka
